Laravel Development

Laravel is our default choice for the back-end of a business system: mature, well documented, and fast to build authentication, roles, queues, scheduled jobs and reporting on. We use it for the parts of an application that must be reliable for years — and we are equally happy taking over a Laravel project someone else started.

What changes for your business

  • A back-end that a new developer can understand without a rewrite
  • Heavy work moves to queues, so the interface stays responsive
  • Permissions are enforced in one place rather than scattered through the code
  • Upgrades stay possible because the framework version does not fall years behind

Technology we use

  • Laravel
  • PHP
  • MySQL
  • PostgreSQL
  • Redis
  • Queues
  • Docker
  • PHPUnit
Why teams call us

What people usually need Laravel for

Four situations where a mature PHP framework is the right call rather than the default one.

An existing PHP system to extend

The company already runs on PHP and has hosting, hosting knowledge and a database that works. Rewriting the stack would solve nothing.

What replaces it

  • Build alongside what already runs
  • Same hosting, same database
  • No forced migration

A project the last developer left

It runs, but nobody knows how. There are no tests, the framework version is four years old, and every change feels like defusing something.

What replaces it

  • Code audit before any change
  • Upgrade path with a rollback plan
  • Documentation as we go

Mostly forms, tables and permissions

The system is fifty CRUD screens, twenty reports and a permission matrix. What it needs is speed of delivery, not a novel architecture.

What replaces it

  • Proven patterns instead of invention
  • Auth, roles and queues out of the box
  • Faster to build and to hire for

Hosting and hiring have to stay cheap

Shared or modest VPS hosting, and a local hiring pool where PHP developers are easy to find and replace.

What replaces it

  • Runs on ordinary hosting
  • A large local talent pool
  • No exotic infrastructure bill

Scope

What the work covers

New builds, rescues and upgrades — with the parts of Laravel that matter in production, not just in a tutorial.

Application development

New Laravel applications with a considered data model, migrations, seeders and a structure a second developer can read.

Auth, roles & permissions

Authentication, multi-role authorisation, policies and audit logging enforced on the server side.

APIs & mobile backends

Versioned REST APIs with token authentication, rate limiting and documentation for the app team.

Queues & scheduled jobs

Background processing for imports, reports, SMS and syncs — with retries, failure handling and monitoring.

Audit, upgrade & rescue

Taking over an inherited codebase: a written audit first, then version upgrades, security fixes and cleanup in a safe order.

Performance & hosting

Query profiling, indexing, caching and deployment setup so month-end does not take the system down.

What we build

What we build with it

Systems where the database work is the hard part and the interface has to be maintainable for years.

ERP & management systems

Inventory, accounts, HR and operations with heavy reporting and a deep permission matrix.

Portals & dashboards

Client, dealer and student portals where each account sees only its own data.

CRM & order systems

Lead, order and ticket workflows with status rules, assignment and audit history.

Mobile app backends

The API, admin panel and push infrastructure behind an Android or iOS application.

E-commerce backends

Catalogue, order, payment and courier flows behind a storefront, however the front end is built.

Legacy PHP modernisation

Old PHP applications moved onto a maintained framework without losing the data or the working logic.

Frequently asked questions

Can you take over a Laravel project another team built?

Yes. We start with a paid audit — structure, dependencies, security, database and framework version — and give you a written report with the risks and the work needed, before you commit to a maintenance arrangement.

Laravel or Node.js for our back-end?

For record-keeping business systems — orders, customers, approvals, reporting — Laravel is usually faster to build and cheaper to maintain. Node.js earns its place for real-time features like live tracking or chat. Many of our projects use both.
